Job Title: Residential Care Worker

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Worker to join our team in Cambridge. As a key member of our nightcare team, you will provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with severe learning disabilities.

Salary and Benefits:
£11.72 - £12.20 per hour, £25 per night shift worked. We also offer a £1500 Welcome Bonus, 4 weekly rota patterns, average 40 hours per week, and flexible part-time shifts/hours available including weekend only hours. You will also receive full paid training, a paid DBS check, funding to complete Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, 30 days holiday including bank holidays, life assurance & pension, car lease scheme, bike to work scheme, Perk-box, and fully funded opportunities to gain further qualifications.

Responsibilities:
- Personal care needs such as washing and getting ready for bed.
- Ensuring good bedtime routines and sleeping patterns.
- Doing regular checks throughout the night.
- Ensuring any medical needs are followed.
- Creating a safe environment for both the children & your work colleagues.
- Light housekeeping duties during your night shift.
- Recording information and administration.
