Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Training & Competency Administrator at Brownlee Cale. This is a permanent role that will report directly to the Training & Competency Manager.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration and be confident in supporting the training department's needs. The focus of the role is to work alongside the Training & Competency Facilitators and Training & Competency Coordinators within the department to facilitate the administration and organisation related to training & competency activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Training & Competency Manager: Assist with team meetings, send out agendas, meeting invites, and take minutes as required.
  • Maintain Department Rota: Manage the department's Rota, which is used for absence and holiday management.
  • Administer External Training: Book external training with our providers, raise purchase requisitions as needed.
  • Support Competency Management System: Assist with the administration of the Company's Competency Management System under the guidance of the Training & Competency Coordinator.
  • Track Training Bookings: Monitor all training bookings from enquiries through to completion.
  • Collaborate with HR: Work closely with the HR team to organize new starter integration.
  • Upload Training Records: Scan in and upload training records onto the Company's Competency Management System.

Requirements:

  • Previous Administration Experience: Ideally in a training role.
  • Strong Understanding of Training & Competency Processes:
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Both written and verbal.
  • Good Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build strong relationships.
  • Good Listening Skills: High levels of attention to detail.
  • Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office platforms (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Competency Management Systems (CMS) like Skillstation.
  • Ability to Multi-Task: Prioritize your own workload effectively.
