Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Senior Community Social Worker to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Community Social Work Team, you'll play a vital role in supporting community practitioners in responding to emerging and escalating risk, ensuring the best possible outcomes for children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support practitioners in identifying and managing risk, promoting clarity where the level of risk is unclear
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of practitioner training, focusing on systemic social work practice and safeguarding
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Early Help Partnership to improve outcomes for children and young people not currently open to Children's Social Care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Social Work England registration
  • A recognised qualification in Social Work
  • To have passed your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE)
  • A full driving licence and willingness to drive
  • DBS clearance
