Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk Manager to join our team at Amazon, responsible for protecting our customers and stores from fraud, counterfeit, and abuse.

This role is focused on delivering results by identifying and enforcing bad actors across our WW stores. Each day is different as new behaviors and trends are constantly discovered.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Catch bad actors and stop online fraud through high-level judgment-driven investigations and enforcement decisions.
  2. Lead and support the team in responding to, investigating, managing, and resolving high-impact incidents around product authenticity and safety issues.
  3. Own complex investigations and drive direct actions to protect Amazon customers and maintain store health.
  4. Closely monitor media and global events to anticipate potential risks.
About the Role

Our ideal candidate has a proven track record of delivering results in fast-moving environments and possesses expertise in risk domains like fraud, cybersecurity, data security, and internal risk.

The successful candidate will have strong data analysis skills, be able to make high-confidence judgments, and thrive in an environment of ambiguity and change.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

4+ years of experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Experience handling confidential information

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of program requirements definition and data metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience
Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials
Experience with SQL and Excel

Compensation

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
