The Role:

We're seeking an experienced Information Security Engineer to join our team in the UK. As a member of our cyber security team, you'll play a vital role in protecting our clients' sensitive information and ensuring the security of our systems.

Your Key Responsibilities will be:

  • Triage, escalate, and assist in responding to cybersecurity-related events and incidents
  • Manage containment and remediation efforts for affected assets, IOCs, and TTPs
  • Act as a high-tier escalation point for security incidents, providing technical expertise to the cyber incident/event management process
  • Collaborate with colleagues, delegate tasks, and drive deadline compliance in a highly regulated environment
  • Produce detailed incident reports and security recommendations
  • Hold stakeholders accountable for remediation actions
  • Provide training and guidance during complex incidents
  • Develop strong relationships with technical personnel from various disciplines to assist with projects, process improvements, and documentation
  • Liaise with Cyber Defense, Privacy, Compliance, Business, Legal, and Architecture teams
  • Influence the creation and/or adoption of new standards and procedures
  • Identify deficiencies in processes and tools, recommend security controls, and corrective actions for mitigating technical and business risk


Required Qualifications:

We're looking for candidates with a proven track record in IT Security or Cyber Security, particularly in areas such as Incident Response, Email Security, Data Protection Governance, Cybersecurity threat detection, monitoring, and reporting, Cyber Intelligence and Threat Hunting, and Vulnerability Management. You should have a solid understanding of Networking (OSI Model, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SMTP), System Administration, and Security Architecture. Experience analyzing attack vectors, current threats, and security remediation strategies is also essential.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome applications from individuals with PowerShell, Java, or Python scripting experience, as well as those holding certifications such as CISSP, CISA, GCIH, CEH, CHFI, CCSP, SEC+. For this role, you must be eligible to work indefinitely in the UK without any restrictions.
