**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator (SENDCo) to join our middle leadership team. As a highly qualified professional, you will provide strategic direction and development of SEND provision, working closely with the Assistant Headteacher (Inclusion).

This is a permanent position at Hall Green School, a popular 11-16 Converter Academy in Birmingham. The successful candidate will have a teaching commitment appropriate to the role and responsibility level, working with a dedicated team of teaching assistants and support staff.

The school has a strong commitment to inclusion and providing a welcoming environment for students with physical disabilities and other special educational needs. You will be supported by a highly experienced administrative assistant and will work closely with the Assistant Headteacher to strategically direct and co-ordinate provision for students with additional needs.

In this role, you will lead a team of staff, ensuring efficient and effective deployment of resources. You will also assist with teaching and learning, as well as pastoral needs. Your expertise and experience will help drive the school's approach to inclusion, ensuring the success and wellbeing of its young people.

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a contributory pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent leadership and communication skills, with a strong understanding of SEND provision and policy. You will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities. A DBS check and medical fitness assessment will be required for the successful candidate.
