We are seeking an experienced and passionate Qualified SENCO to join our large, three-form entry school in the vibrant area of Harborne. This is a part-time role for 3 days per week, offering ongoing support and a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and inclusive educational environment.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will oversee and coordinate the provision of support for students with special educational needs, including those with EHCPs. They will work closely with classroom teachers to ensure tailored support for children with ADHD, ASD, ASC, SEMH, and MLD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for pupils with EHCPs
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to identify and provide additional support for pupils with SEND
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies to ensure pupils receive comprehensive support

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a supportive and inclusive working environment, with opportunities for professional development and growth.
