We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join our team at NISI. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will provide expert advice and support to employees and managers on employment-related matters, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
Main Responsibilities- Provide guidance on employment policies and procedures, including Agenda for Change terms and conditions of service.
- Support the Senior Employee Relations Advisors and HR Business Partnering team in delivering an effective HR service.
- Manage complex sickness-related absence cases, including arranging and attending sickness review meetings and advising line managers.
- Liaise with Occupational Health and ensure outcome letters and actions are followed up in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide efficient HR and employee relations support to the Senior ER Advisor(s) and HR Business Partnering team.
- GCSE level (including Maths and English) or equivalent professional experience.
- NVQ level 5 or equivalent professional experience.
- CIPD or working towards.
- Knowledge of employment law relating to employee relations, the Equality Act (2010), and the Data Protection Act (1998).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey ideas and advise clearly.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple demands, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
