Job Summary:

The Project Coordinator position is a key role in supporting regional service line operations with administrative activities to enhance project efficiencies and relieve technical staff of non-billable tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with creating and monitoring reports from Business Warehouse/SAP systems
  • Set up and close out projects in PSE
  • Collaborate with B&R and Account Executives to ensure timely project openings
  • Communicate delivery dates to customers
  • Assign projects to project handlers based on availability
  • Ensure engineering hours are entered and adequate information is provided for project closure
  • Timely project invoicing and ensure invoicing is completed by project end
  • Assist with B&R for collections as needed
  • Review engineer test deliverable packages before sending to clients
  • Coordinate with TUV global offices for certificate issuance
  • Test Report/Certification Management and emailing/mailing reports/certificates to clients
  • Procurement Activities, including entering purchase requisitions and working with local vendors
  • Manage and maintain locally developed documents, server client folders, and assist engineers with DIGIDOCS entry
  • Sample Handling and Disposal using Storix program software
  • Assist with planning for training or meetings, client or internal

Competencies:

  • Communication: Listen to others, send clear messages, and effectively exchange ideas and information
  • Collaboration: Work as a team, respect others' opinions, and keep communication open
  • Customer Orientation: Assess customer needs, act with integrity, and establish trusting relationships
  • Self-Management: Manage time, energy, and workload, maintain a professional image, and ensure personal life does not impact work productivity

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in customer service and/or project management
  • Previous experience working with consumer product safety standards
  • Excellent communication skills, fluency in MS Office applications, and team player

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with SAP platform
  • Technical background
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel
