Senior Activities Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a creative and organized individual to join our team as a Senior Activities Coordinator at Heathbrook House Care Home. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging activities for our residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver morning and afternoon activity sessions, tailored to meet the needs and interests of our residents.
- Produce and update an activity planner for the home, working within a set budget.
- Support residents in participating in activities and encourage their engagement.
- Organize birthday surprises and special events for our residents.
- Coordinate with external companies and performers to arrange days out and events at the home.
- Assist with breakfast, lunch, and dinner duties as needed.
- Organize one-to-one sessions with residents, using tools such as reminiscence therapy, puzzles, reading, or simply enjoying a cup of tea and conversation.
- Update paperwork, care plans, activity notes, and manage emails.
- Support the home with social media management as required.

We are looking for a creative thinker with excellent organizational skills, who can manage budgets and maintain paperwork effectively.
