We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Senior Activities Coordinator to join our team at Bupa. As a Senior Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a range of activities and events for our residents, promoting their physical and mental well-being.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan and deliver morning and afternoon activity sessions, tailored to the needs and interests of our residents.
- Produce and update an activity planner for the home, working within a set budget.
- Support residents in participating in activities and events.
- Organize birthday surprises and other special events for our residents.
- Ensure all necessary arrangements are made for planned activities and events.
- Liaise with external companies and performers to organize days out and events.
- Assist with breakfast, lunch, and dinner duties as needed.
- Organize one-to-one sessions with residents, using tools such as reminiscence, puzzles, reading, or simply a cup of tea and a chat.
- Update paperwork, care plans, activity notes, and manage emails.
- Support the home with social media channels as required.
**Requirements**
We are looking for a creative thinker with excellent communication and organizational skills. You should be able to manage budgets and maintain paperwork effectively, while prioritizing tasks as they arise. A passion for caring for others and making a difference in people's lives is essential.
