Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy and Compensation Manager to join our team at Field Energy. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the regulatory and policy landscape for energy storage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive code changes to better recognize and reward the benefits of energy storage
  • Delve into the detail of storage business cases to understand the impact of specific costs and revenues
  • Form alliances with partners and organizations to achieve change with regulatory bodies
  • Communicate policy updates and implications to internal stakeholders
  • Share policy insights with colleagues and feed back to policy makers
Requirements
  • Experience proposing and responding to code modifications
  • Deep understanding of energy codes, including network charging methodologies, balancing mechanism, and capacity market rules
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts and present cogent arguments
  • Understanding of GB Energy Legislation and licence obligations
