We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Individual to join our team as a Vulnerable Student Advocate. In this role, you will work closely with vulnerable students in Dorset, building strong relationships and contributing to their academic success.

About the Position

You will work as a member of our learning community, collaborating with teachers to develop and implement individualized learning plans. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students and contribute to their emotional and social development.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and young people, particularly those with complex needs. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students, staff, and parents. A degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, psychology, or social work) is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, promoting a secure and supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Support students' emotional and social development, addressing any challenges that may impact their learning.

Salary Range: £26,000 - £36,000 per annum, depending on experience.
