About the Role


  • As an Educational Support Specialist with Targeted Provision Ltd, you will work on a part-time basis to provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Your role will involve supporting vulnerable learners in their educational and social-emotional journeys, promoting flexibility and holism in your approach.
  • You will be required to plan each session of teaching/tutoring/mentoring, provide lesson reports, and offer feedback on young people's progress.

About You


  • We are seeking individuals with Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS), a minimum of 2 years teaching experience, and experience working with SEND students.
  • Applicants must have a deep understanding of safeguarding processes and be able to promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people.
  • A Contract for Service arrangement is offered, paid via PAYE with insurance covering work done. Please note that this is not a permanent position and engagements are short-term as needed.

  • The estimated salary for this role is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum.
