We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to lead our psychology services and develop our psychosocial interventions offer to support individuals experiencing difficulties associated with drug and alcohol use.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a registered Psychologist to join our team and contribute to the development of our psychology services. As a Clinical Psychologist Leader, you will be responsible for providing regional leadership of services and people, developing our psychology services and psychosocial interventions offer, and working as part of multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent care.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement psychology services and psychosocial interventions to support individuals experiencing difficulties associated with drug and alcohol use.
- Provide regional leadership of services and people, ensuring high-quality care and delivery of evidence-based interventions.
- Work as part of multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent care and support individuals in achieving their goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including service users, carers, and other professionals.
- Contribute to the development of our psychology services and psychosocial interventions offer, ensuring they are evidence-based and effective.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Experience of working at a Consultant level or equivalent, with a strong background in clinical psychology and psychosocial interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of evidence-based interventions and their application in a clinical setting.
