Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the Mental Health Specialist Team.
  • Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve service delivery and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and managers to develop and implement service developments.
  • Ensure good clinical governance, quality, and appropriateness of services delivered by the team.
  • Lead on workforce development and recruitment within the team.
Requirements
  • Post-graduate Doctoral level training and qualification in Clinical Psychology.
  • Professional registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience of working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health services, including leadership roles.
  • Experience of providing clinical supervision and training to qualified and non-qualified Psychologists.
  • Advanced theoretical knowledge of child and adolescent mental health and the evidence base for relevant interventions.
