Management Accountant Opportunity

A challenging role has arisen for a Management Accountant to lead a small operational finance team and provide a consistent, robust finance offering to the wider business.

  • Oversee the production of management accounts, including variance analysis, gap analysis, and commentary.
  • Develop and implement process improvements and automation to enhance team efficiency.
  • Contribute to financial appraisal processes and provide accurate projections to identify suitable investment opportunities.
  • Take ownership of statutory accounts, VAT returns, and selected tax tasks.

As a Management Accountant, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop your team and provide growth opportunities in areas such as process improvement and automation.
  • Work closely with the audit partner to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Contribute to the company's growth plans and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Management Accountant role with a relevant qualification.
  • Team management experience and exposure to taxation (desirable but not essential).
  • A highly commercial individual with the ability to see opportunities and utilize them.
