Management Accountant

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join their team in Portsmouth. As a key member of the central finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of monthly management accounts for accountancy practice subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly Management Accounts: Review and analyze the production of monthly management accounts for accountancy practice subsidiaries.
- Complex Subsidiaries: Prepare management accounts for more complex subsidiaries within the organization.
- Payment Authorization: Authorize payments and monitor cash flow at a subsidiary level.
- Team Support: Provide support to and assist in the development of Finance Administrators within the team.
- Reporting to Head of Finance: The role involves reporting directly to the Head of Finance, indicating a significant level of responsibility and accountability.
Requirements:
- ACCA / ACA qualified with 13 years post-qualification experience preferably in an accountancy practice.
- Strong organization skills, able to prioritize and manage workload, and proficient in Xero and Excel.
- Reliable and capable with a passion for detail, taking pride in producing high-quality work.
- Efficient and personable communicator, able to build and manage relationships.
- Confident dealing with varied financial queries from a range of stakeholders across the business.
Benefits:
- Generous remuneration package, including a salary of £35,000 depending on experience.
- Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with flexible hybrid working arrangements.
- Part-time hours, 4 days a week / 30 hours minimum, will be considered.
