Management Accountant

TPF Recruitment is proud to partner with a top 30 chartered accountancy firm to offer an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join their central finance team based in Portsmouth. This role offers flexible hybrid working arrangements between the office and home.
Key Responsibilities- Monthly Management Accounts: Oversee and review the production of monthly management accounts for accountancy practice subsidiaries.
- Complex Subsidiaries: Prepare management accounts for more complex subsidiaries within the organization.
- Payment Authorization: Authorize payments and monitor cash flow at a subsidiary level.
- Team Support: Provide support to and assist in the development of Finance Administrators within the team.
- Reporting to Head of Finance: The role involves reporting directly to the Head of Finance, indicating a significant level of responsibility and accountability.
- The successful candidate will be ACCA / ACA qualified with 13 years post-qualification experience, preferably in an accountancy practice. Qualified by experience candidates will be considered.
- You will have strong organization skills, be able to prioritize and manage your workload, and be proficient in Xero and Excel.
- The successful Management Accountant will be reliable and capable, with a passion for detail, who takes pride in producing high-quality work.
- You must be an efficient and personable communicator who can build and manage relationships.
- You should be confident dealing with varied financial queries from a range of stakeholders across the business.
- A generous remuneration package includes:
- £35,000 depending on experience
- Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with flexible hybrid working
- Part-time hours, 4 days a week / 30 hours min, will be considered
