Care Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Manager to join our team at Brayson Consulting Ltd. As a Care Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Registered Manager in overseeing the care team and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans that meet the needs and expectations of our clients.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure that all necessary precautions are taken to maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise care staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care.
  • Maintain accurate records and files of care workers and clients, and ensure that all necessary documentation is up-to-date.
  • Participate in the on-call register and respond to emergency situations as needed.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience working as a Care Manager in a Domiciliary Care environment.
  • Compassionate and caring with a supportive and empathetic nature.
  • Professional with excellent time management and reliability skills, and the ability to be flexible with work schedules.
  • Experience in risk assessments for care services and individual care and support, and knowledge of confidentiality, health and safety, and abuse matters and safeguarding procedures.
  • Excellent administrative and computer literacy skills, as well as strategy and implementation skills.
  • Experience in staff management, including recruiting, training, supporting, and supervising.
  • NVQ 3, 4, or 5 in Social Care, and a satisfactory DBS check.
