Transactional Finance Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Transactional Finance expert to lead a dedicated team of 4 ledger clerks. As a Transactional Finance Team Manager, you will oversee the crucial functions of accounts payable, receivable, and credit control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of 4 ledger clerks, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Accounts Payable: Oversee the processing of supplier invoices, ensuring timely payments and resolving any discrepancies.
- Accounts Receivable: Manage customer invoicing and collections, maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure prompt payments.
- Credit Control: Implement and monitor credit policies, assessing creditworthiness and managing credit limits to minimize risk.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for decision-making.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Proven experience in transactional finance.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
