Care Home Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced Care Home Manager to lead and unlock the full potential of our luxury care home. As the Home Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring outstanding care and service.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and inspire the care home team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy.
  2. Recruit, train, and retain a skilled team committed to delivering person-centred care.
  3. Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements, including CQC standards, and aim for an "Outstanding" rating.
  4. Manage the home's budget and ensure financial targets are met.
  5. Monitor and evaluate performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  6. Manage risks effectively to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience managing a nursing home.
  2. Strong working knowledge of CQC standards with a record of achieving "Good" or "Outstanding" ratings.
  3. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with internal teams, external professionals, families, and visitors.
  4. Strong marketing and business skills, particularly in the private care sector.
  5. Enthusiasm for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
  6. Ability to contribute to the growth and development of the care service.
