Job Description

Position Summary:

The Director, Portfolio Management finance will be a key member of the Infrastructure European Portfolio Management team, reporting directly to the Vice President, Portfolio Management. They will work alongside Brookfield's Operating Partners to partner effectively with our European operating businesses and internal stakeholders to drive performance, generate value, and act as a trusted resource on financial matters.

  • Communicate financial and performance metrics to key stakeholders, including Brookfield senior leadership.
  • Oversee and sign-off on monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting submissions by operating assets.
  • Direct involvement in annual business planning and valuation processes for the European platform.
  • Track and analyze performance against the financial plan, identifying root cause for variance and establishing action plans.
  • Lead onboarding and integration of new assets into Brookfield finance and accounting processes.
  • Review monthly liquidity forecasts, including distribution and capital planning.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of operating businesses to provide insightful reporting to senior management.
  • Mentor Senior Financial Analyst.
  • Prepare specific analysis and special projects to support strategic decision making.
  • Frequent communication with the finance leadership of operating businesses and of Brookfield Infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • ACCA or ACA qualification with Big 4 experience and at least 7 years of PQE experience.
  • Strong Excel skills, including the ability to review and update financial models.
