About the Role:

As a Residential Team Leader, you will be responsible for supporting the Service and Deputy Manager at our ABI Residential service in Bramley, Leeds. You will be the point of contact for the rest of the team when the Locality Manager is off-site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individual support plans, including assessments and risk assessments.
  • Encourage individuals to take an active role in daily living and ensure the appropriate level of care and support is identified.
  • Manage the review and maintenance of support plans to ensure ongoing suitability.
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, and maintain a high standard of hygiene.
  • Participate in planning and arranging daily outings, holidays, and recreational pursuits.
  • Build working relationships and engage in positive communication with individuals, families, advocates, and professional colleagues.
  • Undertake and/or assist with household activities, such as cooking, mealtimes, laundering, and cleaning.
  • Record and complete documentation to ensure accurate and informative records.
  • Ensure up-to-date medications and MAR charts, in accordance with the company's Administration of Medication Policy.
  • Maintain compliance and support of staff through supervision, appraisal, and team meetings.
  • Attend and participate in multi-disciplinary meetings.
  • Ensure high standards of care and support through proactive auditing.
Requirements:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who can demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills. You will have a strong understanding of care and support principles and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
