We are seeking a skilled Junior Digital Copywriter to join our dynamic Content Team at Halfords. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for creating engaging and SEO-optimised content that drives customer experience and loyalty.

  • Create a wide range of digital content, including advice centre articles, brand pages, blogs, FAQs, category short descriptions, video scripts, product descriptions, and store information pages.
  • Work closely with the Senior Copywriter and the Group Content Team to ensure consistency in tone and style.
  • Identify new opportunities for content creation and conduct competitor audits to provide content recommendations.
  • Liaise with the marketing and category teams to obtain information required for content creation.
  • Collaborate with the SEO team to ensure all content is fully optimised for maximum effectiveness.
  • Establish strong working relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure content is represented and considered throughout the creative process.
  • Ensure all work is QA tested and approved, and obtain sign-off from relevant stakeholders.
  • Meet deadlines and communicate regularly with departments and line managers to update them on progress.
