About the Role
National Grid is embarking on a transformative journey to create a cleaner, greener electricity infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Programme Director and the Overhead Lines and Substation teams in achieving our Net Zero goals.
We are seeking an experienced Team Administrator to provide administrative, organisational, and communication support. Your responsibilities will include managing the Programme Director's diary, coordinating team-wide events, and maintaining comprehensive administrative systems.
You will also provide administrative support for hotel and travel bookings, protective personal equipment orders, meeting room bookings, and mobile phone orders. Additionally, you will monitor the team budget and produce management reports as required.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of National Grid's transformation. If you have excellent attention to detail, experience of diary management, and a flexible approach, we encourage you to apply.
What You'll Need
We are looking for someone with excellent communication, organisation, and document management skills. You will also need to be comfortable working with numbers and costs, and have a good standard of education (GCSE Maths and English or equivalent). Proficiency in desktop packages, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, is also essential.
