Senior Marketing Executive Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Marketing Executive to join our team at a large exhibition centre in Birmingham. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making and contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute multi-channel B2B campaigns to promote our convention venues, ensuring all content aligns with our brand's voice and goals.
  2. Own and deliver specific activations within our conventions plan to help ensure they achieve targets for lead generation, prospect engagement, nurturing, and sales conversions.
  3. Identify, create, and implement lead magnets, writing engaging copy and creating compelling content for use across web, email, video, social, and collateral.
  4. Support industry event planning and coordination, including enhancing pre-event presence, activation, promotional materials, and lead follow-up.
  5. Lead the creation and delivery of SEO and SEM campaigns across venue websites, from product to campaign level, identifying areas of opportunity for ranking improvements to support traffic growth and conversion.
  6. Design and execute email campaigns, including newsletters and sales outreach, and analyse campaign performance to suggest improvements.
  7. Analysis and measurement of activities and digital performance, contributing to reports and optimising areas for growth or improvement.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to inform digital strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

  1. Proven marketing experience in a similar role.
  2. Previous experience of marketing in a fast-moving, creative environment.
  3. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and techniques applicable to digital platforms.
  4. Knowledge of website analytics tools.
