Engineering Department Head

This full-time position involves managing the Engineering function across four quarry sites and three engineering workshops. The ideal candidate will have experience in the maintenance and repair of all types of quarrying plant.
Responsibilities- Ensure daily/weekly/monthly inspections are completed, and defects reported.
- Liaise with Operations Manager and Health and Safety Representative on Health and Safety issues at the workplace.
- Develop and promote good communications and professional relationships between all levels of staff and employees on site.
- At least five years of management experience in a Quarry or similar industrial facility.
- A minimum QCF 6/NVQ4 in Extractives Management or willingness to study for it.
- Preferred: Qualified Electrician or extensive electrical knowledge.
