About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Safety Manager to join our team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Patient Safety and Governance team, you will play a critical role in promoting a culture of safety and quality across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective patient safety strategies and initiatives to reduce harm and improve outcomes.
  • Lead on the Learning from Deaths process, ensuring that all incidents are thoroughly investigated and lessons are learned.
  • Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to identify and address safety concerns, and implement improvements.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on patient safety matters, including national safety alerts and PSIRF.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Trust's patient safety strategy, working closely with the Associate Director of Governance and Head of Patient Safety and Risk.
