About Westdale Infant School
Located within Nottinghamshire County Council, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated class teacher to join our thriving team at Westdale Infant School.
Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher to take on a temporary role as a class teacher in one of our Year 1 classes. The successful candidate will be working closely with the existing staff to deliver high-quality education to our students.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced teacher who can provide engaging and effective lessons to our students. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Early Years and Key Stage 1 Curriculum and be able to adapt their teaching style to meet the needs of all learners.
Key Responsibilities
- To plan, deliver and assess lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students
- To maintain a well-organized and inclusive learning environment
- To communicate effectively with parents, staff, and other stakeholders
- To contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and policies
- To participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
A degree in Education or a related fieldQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentA strong understanding of child development and learning theoriesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively as part of a teamSalary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary in line with the National Pay Scales, estimated at £40,000 - £60,000 per annum. Additionally, you will receive comprehensive benefits including pension scheme, paid holidays, and opportunities for professional growth.
