About the Role:
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to individuals with mental health conditions, including Asperger's, OCD, and Psychosis. You will work closely with a mixed-gender team to provide 24-hour support, promoting independence and empowering individuals to take control of their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing encouragement and support to individuals with complex health needs and learning disabilities.
- Implementing detailed care plans and risk assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals.
- Supporting individuals with challenging behaviors and promoting positive relationships.
- Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive support package.
Requirements:
- Experience in social care, ideally within mental health, with a focus on supporting individuals with complex needs.
- Current Right to Work in the UK and a minimum of 6 months' employment in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
