We are seeking a highly motivated and committed Primary Care Physician to join our dynamic team at Central Surgery. Our practice is a large semi-rural dispensing practice, serving a local community of approximately 17,000 patients.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, making professional and autonomous decisions, and undertaking both clinical and educational duties. The post-holder will be expected to work collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals, including GPs, ANPs, ACPs, Practice Nurses, HCA's, and a Pharmacist.
Main Responsibilities- Providing face-to-face consultations, telephone consultations, video and online consultations, and visiting patients at home.
- Assessing the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
- Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
- Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions.
- Undertaking all normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
We are looking for a qualified GP with a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for working in a dynamic and forward-thinking practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and develop.
The post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required.
