Provide the first point of care contact for patients presenting with undifferentiated, undiagnosed problems by utilising history taking, physical examinations and clinical decision-making skills to establish a working diagnosis and management plan in partnership with the patient (and carers). Offer specialised clinics (where competent), but not limited to family planning, baby checks, COPD, asthma, diabetes and anticoagulation. Provide health promotion and prevention advice, alongside analysing and actioning diagnostic test results. Develop integrated patient-centred care.

Promote evidence-based practice and partake in clinical audits, significant events reviews and other related activities. Participate fully in the duty rota across the PCN, including face to face, remote consultations and homes visits for both emergency and routine matters and long-term conditions. Working under the supervision of a doctor as part of a medical team.
