We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to join our team at Carlton Group Practice. As a key member of our primary care team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and management to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide managerial and professional leadership to the nursing team
- Work closely with the Business and Operational Managers to deliver, plan, and future-proof services
- Ensure the delivery of an exemplary clinical service while maintaining practice targets
- Manage and review performance, absence management, and training needs
- Act as the Infection Prevention Control (IPC) Lead and develop and implement operational plans and strategies for service delivery

Carlton Group Practice is a dynamic and forward-thinking practice located in the heart of Burton on Trent. We provide primary care services to a patient population of over 17,700 patients across two sites. Our team is led by 6 GP Partners, a Business Manager, and an Operations Manager who share a vision to take the practice into the next stage of primary care development while providing an outstanding level of care to our patients.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with experience in primary care
- Leadership experience and ability to work autonomously
- Experience in all areas of Chronic Disease Management, including Diabetes
- Ability to work under pressure and in stressful situations
- Flexibility to work outside of core office hours
