About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Manager to lead our engineering team in delivering complex capital projects, including critical infrastructure and sustainable urban drainage schemes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the engineering team, ensuring effective resource allocation and talent recruitment.
  • Drive innovation and sustainability, embracing new digital technologies and developing solutions that reduce carbon and protect natural capital.
  • Ensure safety and compliance, fulfilling the role of CDM Principal Designer and championing a strong health, safety, and welfare culture within the team.
  • Collaborate and influence, building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Deliver excellence, instilling a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
