Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design delivery for the Place Based Thinking programme, ensuring high-quality engineering outputs that meet project standards.
  • Develop and manage the engineering resource strategy, allocating resources effectively to meet project demands.
  • Fulfil the role of CDM Principal Designer, prioritizing health, safety, and compliance in all design activities.
  • Foster collaboration within the leadership team and with key stakeholders, driving the successful delivery of business objectives.
  • Champion innovation and sustainability, integrating nature-based solutions and new digital technologies into the programme.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Engineering, with Chartered Engineer status being highly desirable. You will bring extensive experience in leading and managing multi-disciplinary design teams within a design and build environment, particularly in the delivery of complex capital projects.

You will excel in fostering collaboration, both within your team and with external stakeholders, driving innovative and sustainable solutions that align with place-based thinking. Your leadership will inspire continuous improvement, and your strategic approach will help shape the future of water recycling in the East of England.
