- Minimum Qualifications:
- Hold Airplane Certified Flight Instructor Certificates.

- Meet Pilot in Command (PIC) recent flight experience requirements as outlined in FAR Part 61.57, underscoring the commitment to maintaining currency and proficiency.
- Demonstrate exceptional written and oral communication skills, essential for conveying complex aviation concepts effectively and fostering a conducive learning environment.
- Exhibit the ability to work with diverse audiences, recognizing and adapting to individual learning styles and needs to ensure inclusive and effective instruction.
- Experience with G1000 avionics systems, highlighting proficiency in modern cockpit technology and enhancing instructional capabilities in advanced aircraft environments.
- Familiarity with the Diamond DA40 aircraft, indicating specialized knowledge that contributes to comprehensive flight instruction and student success.
- Experience teaching in a 141 environment, showcasing familiarity with structured training programs and adherence to rigorous curriculum standards.
- Previous experience providing flight instruction, demonstrating a proven track record of effective teaching and mentorship in a flight training setting.

The environment and physical requirements may change depending on the specific function of the work each department performs. Incumbents may be in both indoor and outdoor environments. Indoors, in an office space, event space, or public space are protected from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature changes. Incumbents may nearly continuously sit and often use repetitive hand motion (such as typing).
