We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Application Services Lead to join our team at Point of Rental Software. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for leading the Application Services team and contributing to the success of our cloud-based applications.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Application Services team to ensure timely completion of projects and effective management of ticket backlogs.
- Communicate with other teams to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination.
- Contribute to the installation and setup of the Point of Rental application in cloud-hosted environments or on physical servers.
- Configure and manage environments to meet customer needs, including setup of backup schedules and SQL servers.
- Work with Project Managers to keep projects on track and manage tasks assigned to you and your team.
- Experience leading a technical team and managing a team's backlog.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office 365 applications.
- Associate's Degree or Higher or equivalent work experience.
- Telephone/Remote Customer Support experience or equivalent customer service experience.
- Remote Windows Administration experience for offices of 1 to 15 users.
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- 3-4 years of experience in a similar IT support role.
- Small Business Network Routers and Switches (SonicWALL, NETGEAR, Cisco).
- Dell Workstations and Servers setup and maintenance.
- Microsoft SQL Server/Express 2019 setup and configuration.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Terminal Services/Remote Desktop Services.
- Microsoft Certified Professional/Administrator.
- CompTIA Net + or Sec+.
- Experience with Azure Cloud and AWS Cloud environments.
This is a full-time, salaried position.
