Job Title: Brand/Category Retail Account Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Brand/Category Retail Account Manager to join our team at Zero Surplus. As a key member of our category and insight recruitment specialist team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our clients and candidates in the FMCG and Retail sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute category management strategies to drive sales growth and market share for our clients.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including retailers, suppliers, and category managers.
  3. Provide expert analysis and insights to inform business decisions and drive category growth.
  4. Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations to retailers to increase distribution and listings for our clients' products.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to drive category growth and sales.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in category management or retail commercial management, with a strong understanding of the FMCG and Retail sectors.
  2. Advanced Excel skills, with intermediate to advanced PowerPoint skills also beneficial.
  3. Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and present findings with action recommendations.
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
