Job Title: Brand/Category Retail Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Brand/Category Retail Account Manager to join our team at Zero Surplus. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth and increase market share in the retail sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key retail buyers and stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement sales strategies that meet the needs of our clients and drive business growth.
  • Provide market insights and recommendations to inform business decisions and drive sales growth.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a sales or account management role, preferably in the retail or FMCG sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results.
  • Strong knowledge of the retail sector, including market trends and competitor activity.
