We are seeking a skilled Coatings Specialist to join our team at Industrious Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have experience in applying paint and other finishes to vehicles, vehicle components, machinery, equipment, and various surfaces using spray guns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Surface Preparation: Cleaning, sanding, and masking surfaces prior to painting. Ensuring surfaces are properly primed and free of defects before application.
  • Painting and Finishing: Mixing paints to achieve desired colours and consistencies. Applying paint, varnish, or other finishes using spray guns or other applicators. Achieving uniform coverage and thickness according to specifications.
  • Inspection and Quality Control: Inspecting finished surfaces for quality and making necessary touch-ups or corrections. Ensuring all painted surfaces meet company standards and customer specifications.
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Setting up, calibrating, and maintaining spray equipment and tools. Cleaning spray guns, hoses, and other equipment after use to ensure longevity and performance.
