Speech and Language Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to make a significant impact on the lives of children with special educational needs.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' speech, language, and communication needs, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective intervention.
  2. Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to address individual students' goals and objectives, promoting positive outcomes and academic success.
  3. Deliver engaging therapy sessions, utilising evidence-based techniques and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  4. Regularly monitor and evaluate students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to ensure continuous improvement and achievement of desired results.
  5. Collaborate with teachers and support staff to provide consultation and training, fostering a whole-school approach to communication development and empowering students to reach their full potential.
Requirements:
  1. Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with relevant experience in special education (SEN experience preferred).
  2. Registration with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  3. Passion for working with children with special educational needs and a commitment to their well-being, social-emotional growth, and academic achievement.
Estimated Salary: £45,000 per annum
