About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Customer Field Engineer to join our team at CityFibre. As a key member of our fibre installation team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the successful installation of our fibre network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with 'on the day' issues that may prevent successful completion of first-time installations
  • Complete complex or non-standard installations from site survey through to successful conclusion for both residential and business customers
  • Resolve service incidents / escalations to a successful outcome in a professional and timely manner
  • Participate in an on-call rota to provide industry leading emergency response for network or customer issues
Requirements
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of fibre installation
  • Confidence working at heights such as ladders and climbing poles
  • Valid UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
  • NRSWA O1 qualification
  • Openreach PIA S007 Sub-Duct and Cable Installation qualification
  • SA001 Overhead Safety and SA002 Underground Safety or SA006 Safe Working in Civils qualification
