Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Field Service Engineer to join our team in Southern England, including Greater London. As a Lead Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional EPOS and IT support services to our customers in the hospitality, retail, and healthcare sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver IMAC and Break-Fix services to our customers, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of EPOS and IT issues.
  • Allocate work calls amongst the team, support the wider team in their success and queries, and undertake your own workload.
  • Oversee installations and technical training of your team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services.
  • Diagnose and rectify EPOS, networking, and IT issues, providing on-site support services to our customers.
  • Provide timely and accurate paperwork completion, ensuring all necessary documentation is up-to-date and compliant.
  • Cable infrastructure, including Cat5, Cat6, and wireless installations.
  • Interact with customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in EPOS and IT field service engineering, with a strong background in installation, troubleshooting, and support.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality services, with a focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Full driver's license and comfort with extensive periods on the road.
  • Full 5-year DBS checkable history, to enable airside passes to be arranged at airports.
  • Experience of team support/leadership, with a focus on mentoring and developing team members.
  • Ability to use standard Microsoft Windows and Office products.
  • Ability to communicate well with colleagues and customers, with a focus on methodically working through on-site problems from point of arrival to satisfactory conclusion.
  • Willingness to be based from home and to travel as required by the company, including overnight stays away from home.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to plan, time manage, and multi-task, with a focus on flexibility, reliability, tolerance, and energy.
