Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Care Companion for the Elderly to join our team. As a Care Companion, you will be responsible for providing person-centered care to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care to clients in their own homes, including medication management, personal care, and emotional support
- Build positive relationships with clients and their families, understanding their needs and preferences
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and care plans
Requirements:
- 3 months' paid experience in care (not essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A driver's licence and own car (essential)
- Good professional and personal references
- Enhanced DBS/PVG check, Right to Work, Reference, and Employment History checks required
