Securitas Security Services is seeking a skilled Emergency Fire Officer to join our team. As a key member of our contingency fire crew, you will play a vital role in protecting people and property across the globe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure competencies through continued professional development to remain deployable
  • Work at height, in confined spaces, and outdoors, wearing personal protective equipment as required
  • Monitor Security and Fire related equipment, reporting faults correctly
  • Deal sensitively with people in difficult situations, promoting a professional image of Securitas
  • Travel and be away from home for prolonged periods, with opportunities for scenario-based training during 'stand-down' periods
  • Be prepared to move and deploy at short notice to a central 'muster point' in Central London
  • Work as an individual and as part of a team, using common sense and initiative to carry out duties
Essential Skills

What You'll Bring

  • Right to work in the UK and pass security clearance
  • Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team
  • Physical fitness to participate in rescue simulations and emergency procedures
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined dark spaces, and wear heavy equipment
  • Clean-shaven to wear a face respirator when required
  • Understanding of the need to portray a professional image at all times
  • Ability to deal with situations politely, tactfully, and with discretion
  • Ability to retain and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of Security and Fire Safety systems and procedures
  • Basic computer skills and ability to self-teach and learn software tools and databases
