Emergency Response Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our Emergency Duty team at South Gloucestershire Council. As an Emergency Response Social Worker, you will be responsible for responding to urgent social care issues across the region, working closely with other agencies and statutory bodies to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals and families.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to urgent social care issues, demonstrating knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory duties.
- Work jointly with other agencies and statutory bodies to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Complete all necessary forms and maintain accurate records of contacts and actions taken.
- Hold a recognised professional Social Work qualification and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Have relevant post-qualifying experience in Child or Adult Safeguarding issues or Mental Health, with extensive experience of dealing with complex cases.
- Be able to undertake complex risk assessments and implement risk management plans or care packages.
