About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Service Officer to join our team at South Gloucestershire Council.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing emergency personal care packages to support residents in maintaining their independence at home, ensuring timely and effective delivery of services.
- Coordinating rapid response services for Telecare and Carer's emergencies, utilizing expertise in crisis management to minimize risks and maximize outcomes.
- Assessing and addressing complex needs of service users in emergency situations, providing empathetic and solution-focused support.
- Ensuring team members are equipped with necessary qualifications and training, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
Requirements:
- Must hold a recognized professional qualification in Social Care, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and codes of practice.
- Familiarity with emergency response procedures, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
