The successful candidate will have at least five years of prior experience in patent administration and a comprehensive understanding of patent procedures and documentation. With a focus on delivering high-quality results, the estimated salary for this role is £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, providing a competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the lifecycle of patents, including filings, renewals, and maintaining accurate records
  • Prepare and handle correspondence with clients, patent offices, and attorneys; Ensure all documentation complies with relevant legal and procedural requirements
  • Monitor and manage patent-related deadlines, ensuring timely submissions and adherence to deadlines
  • Provide exceptional support to clients, addressing inquiries, and offering guidance on patent-related matters
  • Maintain and update the firm's patent database, ensuring all information is current and accurately reflected

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in patent administration, with a solid understanding of patent processes and regulations
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in relevant patent management software and tools
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
