About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Surveyor to join our team in Oxford. As a Development Surveyor, you will play a key role in providing consultancy and agency advice to our clients on residential and mixed-use development land.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide valuation advice on land and property assets, including financial appraisals of development sites
  • Use Argus Developer to undertake development appraisals and provide written option assessments and valuations
  • Undertake options appraisals to identify development viability and provide development consultancy advice
  • Advise on planning and development strategies, including formal reports and assessment of alternative land use values
  • Support with strategic advice on delivery structures, development agreements, and joint ventures
  • Deal with residential development land agency instructions and negotiate and structure Heads of Terms for transactions
  • Mentor graduates in the wider division/office

Requirements

  • RICS Chartered Surveyor and Registered Valuer with post-qualification experience in development consultancy and agency
  • Experience and knowledge of development appraisals, advisory, and disposal work
  • Competent in Argus Developer (or equivalent)
  • Excellent team player with forward-thinking skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills to develop client relationships and support and cross-sell with colleagues internally
